Recently on a visit home, my mom shared a scrapbook with me passed down in the family from my great grandmother, Dorthy Dawson Raffalovich. She was a fashion designer and illustrated for Sears Reobuck and Company back in the early 1900s. The scrapbook contained many newspaper and magazine clippings from a long gone era.
I am fascinated by them! As I studied the line drawings and renderings, I long to bring them into modern day so that a new generation can be inspired by them, as I am.
I am creating a limited collection of drawings, inspired from her scrapbook. They will be my first Christmas Angel collection, a series of four designs. Can't wait to show them to you when they are ready!
